Presented by the Circle of Support Committee, chaired this year by Olana Khan, the luncheon benefits the programs delivered by FCS for vulnerable children, teens, and adults in our community.
This year's event will feature acclaimed author Sam Quinones, who will speak to what he is learning while traveling the country and engaging with political and community leaders about the opiate epidemic. Mr. Quinone' book Dreamland: The True Tale of America's Opiate Epidemic is a must-read on this topic.
We also look forward to honoring Kathy Forward (NAMI Santa Clara County) for her outstanding leadership in ending stigma and building support for individuals living with mental health conditions and their family members.
Local parent D'Anne Burwell will generously share her family's experience, chronicled in her memoir Saving Jake.
Enjoy lunch, education, and meeting others who care about the health and well-being of children, teens, and adults in our community.
Guests will be asked to make a donation at the event. Preregistration is required.
